The campus of the University of Bayreuth is located at Bayreuth's southern city limits, just under a kilometre from the "Bayreuth-Süd" exit from the A9. This map provides a good overview of downtown Bayreuth (published by Städte-Verlag).

Arriving by public transportation

Taxi stands and bus stops are located in front of Bayreuth's train station. If you don't want to take a taxi to the University, you can take Bus 316 to the campus. Alternatively, you can take one of the bus lines to the station "ZOH". From there, you can take Bus 306 or Bus 304 to the campus.
